Mauldin, Frank L. Sr., age 90 of Birmingham passed away on December 15, 2011. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1943 until 1945, while serving during WWII he received several medals including a Purple Heart. Frank worked for Birmingham Oxygen and also Southern Rapid Transit Authority for 27 years in Southern CA. . He is survived by his children, Frank L. Mauldin, Jr., Shirrell A. Mortenson, Pamelia (John R.) Clack and Joyce E. Mauldin; 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2 PM until 4 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will be held Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Springville City Cemetery.
