STEVENS, FRANKLIN C, JR. “BUDDY”, age 73 of Irondale, lost his battle with cancer and is now with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dolly Stevens. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra J. Stevens; son, Robert Christopher “Chris” Stevens (Tammy); brother, Ronald Stevens (Katie) of Myersville, MD; grandchildren, Tyler Stevens, Trevor Stevens, Trey Stevens, Trace Stevens, Haley York Hancock (Nate) and Ryan York; great-grandson, Kai Hancock; niece, Brook Ellen Tucker; and great niece, Annabeth Tucker. Buddy was a 1961 graduate of Martinsburg High School in West Virginia, Retired from National Cement Co. in 1993 as Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Manager and was a member of Church of The Highlands. His family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 10:30-11:30 at Church of The Highlands Chapel with his service beginning at 11:30. Graveside service will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highlands College Student Fund.
