Gary P Crane

Gary Patrick Crane "Pat", age 79, of Warrior, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Gary was born September 16, 1941. He retired from the Birmingham News and was a member of Covenant Community Church. Gary was a talented artist and photographer. He was a lover of animals and adopted many cats and dogs that were homeless. Gary was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Wilma and William Gloy Crane Sr; sister, Louise Hogeland and brother, Don Crane. He is survived by his best friend of over 35 years, John Horton of Warrior; brother, William Gloy Crane, Jr. "Bill" (Sue) of Hoover; sister in law, Joyce Crane of Mt. Olive and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. J. R. Finney, II officiating. In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to Covenant Community Church or your favorite charity.
