Gary Lee Monk
August 13, 2019
To The Gary Lee Monk Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Monk's passing. I knew Monk in the 70's by association with my 1st cousins, Stephen & Chris Watts of Pelham Al. Monk was always a gentleman, impeccable manners, and a very loyal friend to many with a big big smile.
What a great guy!
My condolences to the family.

We are so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. After moving to Alabama in 1982, meeting Gary and becoming dear friends with him was the best thing that happened to us upon moving here. We later met (most) of his family and became friends with them as well; also a blessing. Gary was so laid back, most of the time, and always funny and a pleasure to be around. We will miss him sorely, as we're sure his friends and family will. It was such a pleasure to know him, work with him and just to be around him. Gary was blessed with loving sisters; take care of one another. We lost a huge part of our (Alabama) family.
Take care of yourselves and each other. May God bless you all.
We love y'all.
