Gladys Earley Lindsey, age 95 of Birmingham went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 30, 2015. She worked with Loveman's and was retired from the Social Security Administration. Gladys was a sweet, loving and caring Mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She was the last of six sisters and two brothers all born in Maytown, Alabama. Survivors include her son, Bob Lindsey and his wife Barbara; grandsons: Brian Lindsey and his wife Jenna and Mark Lindsey; great grandchildren: Taylor, Tanner, Triston and John Michael; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, Birmingham, AL.
