Harry R. Owens, age 70 of Birmingham passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. He was a member of Glen Iris Baptist Church and proceeded in death by his parents: Earl and Maude Owens; sister, Jerry Walden and his brother, Robert E. Owens. Survivors include his sister, Susan (Dennis) Blake; brothers: Ray (Liz) Owens and Mike (Darla) Owens; and several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Bobby Moll. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Glen Iris Baptist Church. Arrangements under the direction of Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, Birmingham, AL.
