Harry George Schlosser, 95, died peacefully on Sunday, January 9th, 2022, surrounded by his family. Harry was born November 20, 1926, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a long time resident of Hoover, AL and an active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. In his later years, he lived on Ono Island and in Santa Rosa Beach FL. Harry was a WWII Navy Veteran, graduate of Georgia Tech, a Professional Engineer and worked as a mechanical contractor with Mason & Dulion in Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Margaret Vance Schlosser. He is survived by his brother Rick (Pat) Schlosser, sons, Rod (Cindy) Schlosser, Mark (Robin) Schlosser, Adam (Lisa) Schlosser and daughter, Carol (Billy) Weinstein, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Elmwood Chapel with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
