Helen was like a second Mother to me. I can't remember a single childhood memory without Helen and Rudy. She was my Mother's best friend and they talked everyday while my Mother was alive. I will miss talking to her about the old days. I know all her heavenly family and friends are glad she is with them now, especially my Mother. She was just about the last connection to our East Lake church left and it won't be the same without her. The Owens were part of our family as I grew up with Mike and Vicky and we all had some wonderful times. I will miss you Helen and know you are no longer in pain, Thank the Lord. Love Dian.

Helen was a very special lady. She was my mother's best friend for about 60 years. Our families were very close and I don't have a childhood memory growing up that didn't include her. I always considered her to be like a close aunt or second mother. She would just show up with a pot of homemade soup when my mother or daddy were sick and getting up in age. Helen truly cared about others and this showed in her ever day life. We all went to church together for many years and I know that she is in God's hands now. She is now reunited with all her family members and friends in heaven. I'll cherish all the great memories together.
