WALKER, HELEN SUE, age 88, of Birmingham, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. She was born on May 23, 1923 to Wilmer D. and M. Lillian Burnett in Cullman, AL. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Holloway. She is survived by her husband, James Walker; sons, Michael Holloway of Pinson, AL and Johnny Holloway of East Lake, AL; granddaughter, Emily Holloway; great grandchild, Sophia Grace; sister, Louise Henry of Birmingham; brother, Jerome Burnett of Cullman, AL; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Sue retired from Holiday Inn after 20 years of service. Her family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be at Center Grove Baptist Church in Cullman, AL on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 beginning at 11 AM where she will lie-in-state from 10-11. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
