He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Lynette K. Landers; his son, Richard H. Landers; and his great grandson, Noah R. Landers. He is survived by his sons, Philip Landers (Cindy) and Hal Landers; his grandchildren, Nicholas Landers, Emily Bonds (Bradley), and Joshua Landers (Shelbi); and his great-grandchildren, Jayce Landers, Parker Landers, Presley Landers, Baron Bonds, Ava Bonds, Olivia Bonds, Cooper Landers, and Greyson Landers.
Visitation will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, US, on July 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill, 431 60th St. N Birmingham, AL 35212, on July 8, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
