Odom, Herbert “Hubert” P. age 79 of Ashville, AL went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2012. He was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Ashville, AL. He was the owner and operator of Homewood Garden Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ott and Bessie Odom; grandson, Ronnie Odom; sisters, Ollie V. Peavey, Pauline McAdams, Betty Joyce Odom, Alma Peavey, Lee Allen; brothers, Walter Odom and Marshall Odom. Herbert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Arlene Morece Odom; daughter, Glenda (Robert) Kelly; sons, Randy Odom and Ricky Odom; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Delancy Chunn and Gladys McMillian. Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 10 am until service time at 11:30 at Apostolic Pentecostal Church 200 McDonald Drive Ashville, AL 35953. An additional service will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 from 10 am until service time at 2 pm at The First United Pentecostal Church of Kosciusko, MS. Interment will follow at Parkway Cemetery.
