Cobbs, Hugh C., age 59 of Birmingham, AL passed away on July 21, 2010. He was employed by Schuler Industries for over 25 years. Hugh was a Past Master, Woodlawn Temple, Lodge No. 790. He was a member of the Warblers while attending Woodlawn High School.
Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mamie Cobbs.
He is survived by his wife, Jay Kiffner Cobbs; daughter, Brooke (Richard) Payne; son, Scott Cobbs; stepsons, James (Alice) Spitzley and Thomas (Christie) Spitzley; sister, Janice Hayes; brother, Avery (Runetta) Cobbs; grandchildren, Alizabeth, Brittney, Michael, Jimmy, Billy, Jacob, Angel, Richard Jr., Brianna and Noah.
Visitation will be Friday, July 23, 2010 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. The funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
