Ida Foley Loe

Loe, Ida Elizabeth “Boots”, age 88 of Birmingham, AL joined her husband and her Lord on October 1, 2012. She was a lifetime member of the Catholic Church, former Unit Clerk with St. Vincent’s Hospital and spent 20 years following her husband around the world as a military wife. Ida was raised by her Aunts, Julia Foley, Mabel Foley, and Marie Foley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Everette Loe; father, Milton J. Foley; sister, Jacqueline Hampton. Boots is survived by her children, Margo Loe (Ken) Crandall, Debra Ann Loe, Barbara Jean Loe, Milton David (Dianne) Loe and Ronald Merlin (Jodi) Loe; grandchildren, Kenneth Crandall, David Crandall, Melissa Luttrell, Doug Hall, Shelly Noort, Christopher Loe, and Andrea Loe; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
