

TAYLOR, IMOGENE LOFTIN was born in Birmingham, AL on January 11, 1928. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 7, 2021 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” O. Taylor; and her parents, J. W. and Marguerite Loftin. She is survived by her four children, Terre Davis (Bill), Karen Barnett (Roger), Bruce Taylor (Kelleigh) and Jodie Blankenship; eight grandchildren, Jason DeRamus, Taylor Painter, Joshua Davis, Amber Roys, Carlin Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Carson Taylor and Daniel Blankenship; five great-grandchildren, Grace DeRamus, Gabriel DeRamus, Zoe Painter, Harper Roys and Eliana Taylor. She was a devoted and faithful wife, a loving, kind and always present mother, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved and followed her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and desired for everyone she knew to put their trust in Him and live a life of devotion to Him. She was a self-taught artist, skilled bridge player, gardener, avid reader and loved life. She was a superb cook and loved traveling with her family. Family and friends were very important to her. She will be missed every day by her family until they reunite in their eternal home where they will forever be with Christ. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 10-11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11:00.
