

Jacqueline Orr Snerling was born July 4th, 1965 to the. Late Leo Orr and Rosa Mae Jolley in Birmingham, Alabama. She was married to Calvin Snerling Sr. To this union three children were born; Calvin Snerling Jr., Brandon Keith Snerling Sr., and their late daughter Danielle Denise Snerling. She went home to lord April 6th, 2023. Jacqueline attended school in Birmingham, Alabama. She worked as an engineering assistant with the department of transportation. She had the privilege of driving the buses for the 1996 summer Olympics that were held in Birmingham, Alabama. She worked at Glenn Iris health center where she assisted in the care of the elderly, disabled, and patients facing psychological
issues. She spent her days in prayer and giving thanks to the Lord for giving her strength daily as she fought her many illnesses. She was a cancer survivor and received a gift of life from her son Calvin Snerling Jr. with his participation in their kidney donor program at UAB hospitals in April of 2016. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her mother, her father, and her daughter. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Sylvester Gardner, Robert Jolley Jr., Kelvin Orr, and her sisters Annie Bell Howard, Everlene “Doll” Buchanan. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Calvin Snerling Sr. of Birmingham, AL; two sons, Calvin (Cara) Snerling Jr. of Calera, Alabama, and Brandon (Alicia) Snerling Sr. of Alabaster, Alabama; three brothers, Lewis (Stacey) Orr of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Charles (Jackie) Jolley
of Hueytown, Alabama, and Marvin Orr of Mobile, Alabama; three sisters, Leola McMillian of Leeds, Alabama, Patricia Hamilton of Chicago, Illinois, and Bobbi (James) Ivory of Newport News, Virginia; seven grandchildren Samad Snerling, A’arian Jones, Kaylin Snerling, Karrington Snerling, Jordyn Simon, Aria Snerling, and Brandon Snerling Jr. Along with her lifelong best friend Sabrina Holt of Birmingham, Alabama. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jacqueline would open her heart and home to everyone. She considered everyone that was around her family and loved them as such.
