Born on October 25, 1940, in Waco, Texas, Jacqulyn was the daughter of Jack and Mary Lee Davis. Her early life in Texas laid the foundation for a lifetime of compassion, faith, and service. A believer in Jesus Christ, Jacqulyn lived her life guided by her faith and a deep commitment to helping others.
Jacqulyn shared many cherished years with her loving husband, Roy Gates, who preceded her in death. Together they built a family rooted in love and mutual respect. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Allen (Stephanie) and David; her granddaughter Honnah (Josh) Gill; and her great-granddaughters Chloe and Gabby. Her legacy continues through them and the values she instilled in each generation.
Known for her kind and caring nature, Jacqulyn had a heart for people. She found joy in giving back to her community through volunteer work with the Red Cross, where she dedicated countless hours to supporting those in need. Her selflessness touched many lives and left an enduring impact on all who knew her.
