

Jaime Diane Burchfield entered into the presence of her Savior on November 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and love that touched countless lives. Born on April 15, 1977, Jaime lived a life devoted to her Creator and the things He loved, embodying humility, grace, and unwavering compassion.
A proud graduate of Auburn University, Seminary of the Southwest, and Highlands College, Jaime pursued knowledge with purpose, using her education to serve others and share the hope of Christ. She was an active member of Church of the Highlands, where she faithfully served on numerous teams, including the Letters of Hope prison ministry and the Women’s Ministry. Her leadership in countless small groups created eternal impact, guiding others toward faith and community. Jaime’s servant’s heart extended to becoming a living kidney donor six years ago.
Jaime was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, and friend. Her life was a reflection of her beliefs, marked by selflessness, contentment, and a heart that saw and believed the best in everyone. She lived by example, demonstrating a faith that was vibrant and genuine, and her love for people mirrored her deep love for God.
Jaime was preceded in death by her father, James Patton Burchfield, Jr., mother, Diane Elizabeth Freeman; cousins, Kenneth Burchfield and Amie Burchfield. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, stepmother, Clifta Burchfield; brothers, Ben Burchfield (Rebecca), Clifton Burchfield, and Coe Burchfield; nephew, Payton Burchfield; niece, Amie Burchfield; aunts, Gayle Conaway; Joyce Cook (Raymond); uncles, David C. Carpenter, Norman Carpenter, Terry Burchfield (Kathy), Kenneth Burchfield, Richard Burchfield; and her best friend forever, Murphy Sealy; and numerous friends and family.
Jaime’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Church of the Highlands – Grants Mill Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery.
Her memory will forever inspire those who knew her to live with faith, humility, and love.
