He is survived by his wife of 46 years Louise “Tink” Allen, sons Curtis (Joan) Weathington and Kenneth Weathington, daughters Terri (Trey) Finlay, Anita Goodwin and Susan Caldwell. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mr. Allen was a United States Marine Veteran of the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart. He was an avid football and NASCAR fan. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be Wednesday November 19, 2014 at 11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with interment to follow in Forest Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM .
