James Arnold “Bud” Crawford, a resident of Elmcroft Assisted Living Facility, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2015. Mr. Crawford was a veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific. After his time of service, Bud went to work for the U. S. Postal Service and retired after forty years.
Bud is survived by his son Randol Crawford and a brother Bernard Crawford (wife Fay).
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Moncrief Crawford; parents William and Ella Crawford; and sisters Irene Matlock, Evelyn Goodwin, and Louise Stricklin.
The family extends a special thank you to his caregivers.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 2:30 PM at the Chalkville Baptist Church Cemetery.
