Mr. Cummings, a WWII Navy veteran, passed away peacefully with his son at his side. He is now reunited with his wife, Earline, whom he had greatly missed! Originally from Mississippi, he retired as industrial manager with Noland Company. He enjoyed volunteering with Special Olympics, Civitans and was a member of Huffman Methodist Church for over 50 years. He was the driving force in founding his son's business, Cummings Jewelry Design where he was especially loved by employees and customers! He especially loved his years spent with Tannehill Woodcarvers Club where he served as President. His wonderful wood carvings still bring joy to many people. He leaves a loving and memorable legacy to his grandchildren Daniel and Claire whom he loved deeply. He is also survived by two sisters, Mabel (Brent) Coleman and Mavis (Billy) Riggs along with numerous neices and nephews. Mr. Cummings was a true gentleman in every sense, a kind and gentle soul with a true servants heart. Those who knew him are proud to call him Pop, Grandaddy and "Mr. C". He will be missed but he is home!
