James Durehl Graves

Graves, Jimmy and Ida Poarch, age 48 and 44 of Warrior, AL went home to praise their Lord in glory. Jimmy was a dedicated father, loving husband, spiritual leader and a Godly man. Ida was a faithful teacher, strong spiritual mother to her children, a loving wife and a Godly women. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Belle Graves; grandparents, P.H. and Nannie Graves, A.R. and Esther Greene. Ida was preceded in death by her grandparents. Pansy and G.W. Lockhart, Edrei and Everette Lee Poarch.

Jimmy and Ida are survived by their children, Michael Early, Candace Graves and Elijah Graves; Jimmy is survived by his father, Durehl E. Graves; sister, Debbie (Allen) Wood. Ida is survived by her parents, Jack and Anita Poarch; brother, William (Deleena) Poarch.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 5 PM until 8 PM at North Clay Baptist Church (formerly Centercrest Baptist Church). Funeral service Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 11 AM at North Clay Baptist Church. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
