HARRIS, JAMES RONALD "RON" of Pelham, Alabama, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at age 64 on June 7, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy; his mother Vicki W. Harris; daughter Robyn (Mark) Bridges; three beautiful grandchildren, Sam, Samantha, and Carlyn Bridges; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Harris served the community as a Birmingham police officer for 20 years and was an attorney at law for the past 25 years. The family will receive visitors Thursday June 9,2011 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel beginning at 10:00am with a graveside service to follow at Elmwood Cemetery at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to Mt.
