Mr. James Wyndell Hartley age 65 of Birmingham, AL passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and retired as an Electronic Switch Technician for Bellsouth. He loved sailing, the wind, and the sea. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of over 46 years, Lorinda S. Hartley; his mother, Sarah Imogene Smith Hartley; his father, Robert Eugene Hartley; sons, James Pate Hartley (Lynn), and Adrian Curtis Hartley; grandchildren, Meghan, Christopher, Jacob, Jennifer, and Julie; sisters, Sheila D. Kimbrough (David) and Darion L Hartley. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with Bro. Steve Potts officiating with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery immediately following the service.
