He is survived by his son, Roger (Crystal) Perkins; grandsons Christian (Caitlin) Perkins and James Luke Perkins; step-grandsons Eathen Patterson and Easton Patterson; and great-granddaughter Harleigh Elizabeth Perkins.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 2, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at John-Ridout’s Mortuary – Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Avenue SW, Birmingham, Alabama 35211. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, with Pastor Erron Price officiating.
