Jane Ginn Connell, age 91, was born on July 25, 1931 and went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 11, 2023. She was a resident of Birmingham, Alabama and a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Mrs. Connell was a graduate of Phillips High School and earned a Pharmacy Degree from Auburn University.
She was preceded in death by her husband; James Ralph Connell and her parents; Reuben Early Ginn and Grace Goodwin Ginn, her brothers; Earle Goodwin Ginn and Robert Lewis "Bob" Ginn, her sisters; Doris Ginn McWaters and Blanche Ginn Langner. She is survived by her sister; Harriett Ginn, sister-in-law; Gail Ginn, brother-in-law; Donald Langner, and loving cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama on February 14, 2023 at 2:00pm. There will not be a public visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:45pm and we will all process together to the gravesite. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church or Banks Academy.
