Janice Kyzer, age 70, of Tarrant, Alabama, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Tarrant High School and a long-time resident of Tarrant. She was a kind and loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyatt and Carolyn McCain and granddaughter, Sarah Ann Johnson. Survived by her husband of 52 years, Steve Kyzer; daughter, Julie Johnson (Randy); grandson, Caleb Johnson; mother-in-law Hazel Kyzer; sister-in-law Linda McGinnis (Floyd); brother-in-law Ken Kyzer; niece, Kim Evans (Josh) and great nephew Jackson Evans, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 5pm-7pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel.
A chapel service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11am. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
