Janie Dunlap, 90 of Trussville went to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ on Friday April 19, 2013. She was born in Whitney, Alabama on July 21, 1922 to Jesse and Marguerite West. Janie was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Dunlap, her parents and a sister, Anne W. Lee. She graduated from Woodlawn High School and Wheeler Business School. After returning home from serving in the Air Force during World War II, Janie attended and graduated from the University of Tennessee. She resided in Florida for 34 years before returning to Birmingham in 1997 where she became an active member of Grand View Baptist Church. She is survived by a nephew, Hal Lee, a niece, Melaine Lee, great niece, Lori Planson, great-great niece, Emma Planson. Interment was in Largo, Florida.
