Jasmine P. Carter Mayo was born to the union of the late David Sr. and Susie Carter. Also her late husband Clarence Mayo, sisters Annie Sue Carter Davis, Margaret Carter, and Doris Carter Thomas (James) was preceded in death. She confessed Christ at an early age. She attended Moton High School Leeds, Alabama and immediately moved to New York then to Florida and back to Alabama. She worked for AT&T and retired.
Jasmine leaves to cherish her memories to her son Derek Carter (Tamika), daughter Dawn Carter Harris (Kelvin), step son Bobby Mayo (Stacey), grandchildren JaKorian Carter, Jaylan Carter, BreShea Carter, Diamond Young, Alexis Mayo, Paris Mayo and BJ Mayo, great grandchildren Cameron Carter and Khylan Carter, Sisters Cora Brown Todd, Hattie Abrams, Emma Carter Brooks, brothers David Carter Jr. (Deborah), Andrew Carter, William Carter (Olivia), Robert Carter, a very special niece Wendy Porter Dampha and uncle Percy Brown Jr. (Elizabeth), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
