SMITH, JEAN REID age 85, passed away August 1, 2011. She moved to Eclectic, AL in 2000, after residing at Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham for 46 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Smith and a son, Warren Reid Smith. She is survived by a son, Wayne M. (Danna) of Eclectic, AL, granddaughters, Emily Finck (Macy) of Opelika, AL, Maeghan Smith Hudon (Nic) of Stanwood, WA, and Shelley Smith Baltar (Jack) of Harvest, AL. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, Eclectic, and will be remembered with joy by her friends and family. Services will be Thursday August 4, 2011 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Hill will be officiating service.
