I enjoyed going walkabout with Jennifer and traveling with her to Portugal.  She was a lovely person.


Jennifer was a very special little sister to me. She was born when I was 15, and she was such a joy to our family.  She was the sweetest person all her life.  She will be missed by our family, Greg and Lara and children Will and Meg, my daughter Kate and brother and nephew, Durall and Parker.   She was blessed with many friends and was a wonderful friend to everyone she knew.  We will miss her very much. Peace be with you sweet Jennifer! Your loving sister, Carolyn

My condolences to the family and all her closest friends.  I went to high school with Jennifer and she has always remained very close friends with my sister, Robin Nickell Stroud.  I remember Jennifer always having a beautiful smile on her face and always having a good time! Her pain is over and she is at peace with our Lord.  Enjoy your journey sweet Jennifer... it will be the greatest trip of all!

Jennifer and my daughter became friends in high school.  What I remember most about Jennifer is her beautiful smile.  Peace to a lovely person who will be missed by all who loved her. 

Jennifer was the gigglingest girl in our carpool to Pony Club and riding lessons. Schatze, sweetheart, remains one of the few German words that I know as it was the name of her appaloosa P.O.A. (Pony of the Americas). I remember that mare had a bit of a "ponytude", but Jennifer gleefully hung in there and there was no doubt in our collective minds that we would all someday be on the United States Equestrian Team.  
I am terribly saddened by this news, but glad to know that Jennifer was able to travel the world, Olympic rider or not.
The last time I saw Jennifer was in 1987 on a trip to Cape Canaveral, Florida where we were compelled to be in protest of the destruction of our earth, and in the hope of making the world a better place. The latter, no effort for Jennifer.

Jennifer and I met at MBJH and became friends right away. We always had a great time hanging out together at school, after school, meeting up at the mall or when she'd come for sleepovers so we could go to parties together.  We’d get into all kinds of mischief -she was so fun, and she had the best laugh-it was contagious! Jennifer was kind, had a beautiful spirit and  heart of pure gold.  My condolences to the family. May Jennifer Rest In Peace and her memory be for a blessing. The world was a better place for having her in it. 💔


Jennifer graduated from Mountain Brook high school and received her bachelors degree from University of South Alabama. She received her Masters degree in social work from the University of Alabama. Jennifer had a passion for traveling and seeing the world. She visited many foreign countries such as England, Mexico, Costa Rica, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Luxenberg, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Wales and numerous American states. 
I once asked her if she would help my parents babysit my kids because I was going to Italy for 2 weeks with my husband for work.  Jennifer said forget babysitting your kids I want to go to Italy and so she joined us!! We had such a great time visiting all the different cities.   Your warm smile and laugh will be greatly missed. RIP my sweet friend.
