SHERR, JEROME “JERRY”, age 93 of Birmingham, formerly of Bradenton, FL passed away after a long illness on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rita Sherr; sons, Michael Sherr (Amy), Matthew Sherr (Cissy) and Michael Blau (Carol); daughter, Robin Thompson (Tony); grandchildren, Ethan Sherr, Zachary Sherr, Gabriel Sherr, Maxwell Thompson (Lauren), Alexander Thompson, Victoria Blau and Daniel Blau; and great-grandchildren, Mills Harry Thompson and Mae Maxwell Thompson. Jerry was born and raised in Boston, MA, a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Atlas Oil Company. He enjoyed playing golf and a good bottle of scotch. There will be a graveside service at Alabama National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM.
