Apr. 19, 1951 Feb. 1, 2015 Hammond, Jerry M. age 63, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2015. He was employed for 30 years with United Parcel Service Air IE at Shuttleworth-Birmingham Internationa lairport. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Margaret Hammond and his sister Linda Jones. He is survived by his son Josh (Kami) Hammond and daughter Alison (Ryan) Williams, brothers Terry (Pat) Hammond and Bob Hammond, sister Peggy (Craig) Edmonds, brother - in -law Randy Jones, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday February 4, 2015 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with Pastor Richard Trucks officiating, interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
