Jesse Tilmon Weldon, 75, went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. Weldon and Hazel A Weldon. He is survived by his sisters, Linda L. Payne (Jim) and Peggy J Oden (Steve) as well as 19 nieces and nephews.
Jesse graduated from Jacksonville State University where he earned a BA in Business. He worked and retired from the Jefferson County Public Works Department.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1-2 at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel in the Maple Room. A graveside service will follow at 2 pm at Birmingham's historic Elmwood Cemetery in block 37. Please gather at Elmwood Chapel to proceed to graveside.
