Jnelle Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, JNELLE, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Aaron Lowell Armstrong; parents, Arthur Cleveland and Hattie Lee Sanders Weathers; son, Allen Lowell Armstrong; son-in-law, Paul Bland; adopted sister and foster brother, Dorothy S. Fleming and Cliff Sanders. She is survived by her daughter, Donna A. Bland; daughter-in-law, Mary Armstrong; granddaughters, Kristen B. Roberts (Cliff), Karen B. Quallio (Jeff) and Chelsea A. Peoples; grandsons, Aaron L. Armstrong and Jay Armstrong; step-grandchildren, Annette Moore, John T. Fields and Ashley M. Lee; 7 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. She graduated from Woodlawn High and worked as secretary for Boyles Baptist Church for 5 and ½ years and then worked at the Social Security Administration where she retired after 26 years. She loved music and was a member of the Allegro Music Club and several luncheon groups. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 9 – 10 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 10 AM. Graveside service will be at Forest Hill Cemetery beginning at 3 PM.
