Joe H. Bush, age 86, of Roebuck, passed away on December 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jo Bush; parents, Joe and Lena Bush; brother, Glen Bush; grandchild, Robert Smithey and great grandchild, Autumn Smithey.
He is survived by daughter, Pamela J. Smithey (Gary D. Smithey Sr.); grandchildren, Gary Smithey Jr., Kristy Wiggins (Randy) and Andre Smithey; great grandchildren, Kaylee Smithey, Sarah Jackson and Joshua Jackson; and other relatives and friends. Joe was a member of Huffman Baptist Church for over 30 years. He was an Alabama Football sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tiger’s baseball team. When he was not watching sports, Joe loved going out for a good meal with family. Joe was in the U.S. Army and served in Korea.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel from 1:00- 2:00 PM Sunday December 17, 2017. Graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
