John Michael Cardwell

CARDWELL, JOHN MICHAEL “MIKE”, age 55 of Birmingham, passed away Monday, January 04, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert George Cardwell; brother, Robert George Cardwell, Jr.; and father-in-law, James Cessna. He is survived by his wife, Patti Cardwell; mother, Anne Connolly Logan; daughters, Anna Melissa Cardwell Way (Stan), Audrey Cardwell Jones (Andy) and Brittney Bice Gossett (Scott); son, Art Bice III (Vanessa); mother-in-law, Peggy Cessna; and grandchildren, George Way, Braxton Gossett and Dylan Abruzzo. Mike graduated from Mountain Brook High School where he was an outstanding baseball player. He worked in the Real Estate and Mortgage industry for 15 years and owned and operated Pasquales Pizza in Gardendale. Mike was passionate about golf and he became a scratch golfer in 2002. An avid Alabama football fan and “all about having a good time”. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 1-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
