We both loved Bro. Joe and pray for the bereaved family members.  I believe he was a gentleman and a scholar.  ....to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  God bless you, Miss Louise and family.

To the Robertson Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Joe was "one of a kind". He was my friend, confidant, mentor, father figure and so much more. The world lost both a Great American and a Great Alabamian. He served his country, state and the CPA profession with all his heart. I will truly miss him. I pray God will bring comfort and peace to his friends and family in this difficult time.

My sincere sympathy and love to Lou and the entire family. I will miss Joe. Rest in peace.
