Giangrosso, Josephine age 90 of Hoover, AL passed away on Thursday, December 1 - loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Giangrosso was preceded in death by her parents Anna (Caruso) and Norman Nicastro; brothers, Larry and Vincent Nicastro; husband, Pete Giangrosso; grandson Stephan Giangrosso. Mrs. Giangrosso is survived by her sisters, Katherine and Mary Rose Nicastro; sons, Anthony, Norman (Francine), and Larry (Karen) Giangrosso; daughter, Joanna Ferretti (Andy); seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 10:30 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with a funeral Mass at Noon, officiated by Fr. Henry McDaid. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Odyssey Hospice, UAB Palliative Care Unit, and special thanks to care-giver Marie Waldrop, for all their loving care and support.
