Joy D. Evans age 79 of Birmingham passed away August 31, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents H.T. and Willie Darden. She is survived by her two sons, Johnny Evans (Shawn); and David Evans; two grandsons, Tyler and Jared Evans. She was a lifelong member of East Lake United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Family will receive friends Friday September 2, 2016 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm.
