Born on August 8, 1932, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was a longtime resident of Hoover, Alabama. Joyce was a faithful member of Shades Crest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Gary Carroll and his wife, Linda; her daughter, Missy Stewart and her husband, Ben; her grandchildren, Cecilia Sells, William Carroll, Andrew Stewart, and Carroll Ann Brittain; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Family Graveside Service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35211 on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:00 am.
