Elaine Haggard passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025. Elaine was born on June 23, 1936 to Raymond and Eula Heath. She was educated in Birmingham City Schools, she attended Robert E. Lee Elementary School and West End High School. She attended Howard College where she met Bob Haggard, who became her husband. She taught in the Alabama Public School system for 30 years.
She and Bob had three sons; Rusty, Mike and Greg. She is survived by Mike and Greg, three grandchildren, Heath (Rebecca), Haley and Hannah. She is also survived by two great granddaughters, Amelia and Anna Grace Haggard, her sister, Geraldine Kyle, niece, DebbieTice Barry), Becky Lander (Roger) and Susan Dennan (Doug). She is survived by great nieces, nephews and her caretaker, Kathy Profitt. She gives thanks to Nicolette Mosley and Aveanna Hospice for the wonderful care she received.
