

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Judy A. Kelley Elmore of Center Point, AL on Saturday, January 16th, 2021, while away visiting family in Panama City, FL. Judy was born January 14, 1943 in Addison, AL. She was retired from ADS, a local alarm business and where she met her husband. She was a wonderful mother, a loving wife, and loyal friend. She always gave so much of herself to others, often at the expense of herself. Judy loved spending time with family reminiscing the olden days, traveling to be with family, and watching sports, particularly Alabama football and Nascar. Preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, John Durr Elmore, Jr., her parents Edwin Mitchell Gilbreath, Sr. and Gladys R. Stephens Gilbreath of Wylam, AL, her brothers, Edwin Mitchell Gilbreath, Jr. of Winter Haven, FL and John Jeffrey Gilbreath of Center Point, AL. She will forever be loved and missed by her children; Robin Elizabeth Hancock of Panama City, FL, Lisa Kelley Tracy (Richard) of Mount Olive, AL and John Mitchell Kelley (Joanie) of Fultondale, AL. Survived by her sister, Pamela G. Carpri (A.J.) of Hoover, AL, and nephew, Tony Carpri (Carrie), and a great niece, Anna Claire Carpri and great nephew, T.J. Carpri, her grandchildren; John Michael Hancock and Brandon Leigh Hancock, Anthony Mitchell Kelley (Danielle), Judy Elizabeth Shelby Painter (Brandon), her extended grandchildren; Adam Tracy (Amanda), Erik Tracy (Ashley) and Steven Tracy (Kayla), her great grandchildren; Trystan Jude Painter and Kinslee Michelle Kelley, and her extended great-grandchildren, Zack, Tyler, Nora, Jonah, Abel and Deacon Tracy, and various other nieces, nephews and greats.
Judy will be lovingly remembered and forever in the hearts of those she loved. She will be greatly missed by all.
A graveside service will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at Forest Crest Cemetery.
