Today is Halloween....this time last year you were trick and treating with your Mama and brother,Keyton.  We feel a sadness that you arent here....but our hears are at peace that you are in Heaven safe and sound in the arms of Jesus.  We love you and miss you.  Always loved....never forgotten. As September 24th quickly approaches, you will be celebrating your first birthday in Heaven with Jesus and all your loved ones there!  Not a day goes by that you are not thought about.  Keyton speaks of you from time to time.  I know your Mother still grieves for you.  I will be out of town on your birthday but I will be releasing balloons for you to catch in Heaven.  I just want you to know how much I love you and always will!!!!

As Easter approaches, we have to rejoice that Christ rose again so that we would have eternal life.  That my precious grandson is exactly what you have....eternal life with Jesus.  Keyton and I went to your grave the other day to decorate.  We put a metallic egg and a purple rabbit with a big bow.  Keyton worked and worked on your grave.  He even wrote you a note.  He buried it beside you.  Just know how much Nana loves and misses y ou.  We all do!!!!!

Your big brother Keyton was talking about you yesterday.  He said he wished you were here and older than him.  He took his first Karate lesson yesterday.  Very mixed emotions!!!  He also did a very brave thing last week. You would have been so proud of him.  Your mommy and I sure were. I think you know all of this already.  Love and miss you soooooo much!!!

Yesterday you would have been 4 months old. We all miss you so much. I am going to the Amelia Center so I can cope with the loss of my precioys grandson.  Your Mama and Keyton miss you terribly.  Keyton was 6 on Jan 20,2014.  He is having a birthday party tomorrow.  We love amd miss you!!!

It's only a few days away until you would have been 3 months old.  On Christmas Eve....we will all get together and open presents.  You will be greatly missed, but you know that!  I love you and miss you so much!

Karyn, the right words do not come easily to express our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your precious infant son.  I asked another grieving mother (whose daughter died at 2 1/2 months) what words were the most comforting: "I'm sorry." Today would have been Kadence's two month birthday. He was born Sept 24, 2013 at 21:16 at UAB.  Karyn was in labor all day,, 16hrs. but you were worth the pain  Two weeks God called you home and your absence from our lives has been the hardest pain to overcome.  I know you are in Heaven in the presence of our Savior.  The holidays are approaching and they will never be with the same , you wont ever be forgotten!  I am lighting another candle in your memory my sweet angel.    We love and miss you our little angel     NANA

It was two weeks ago today  that you were taken from us.  I know God has a wonderful plan for you, but that doesn't make the pain go away right now. Karyn, I am continually praying that God will give you more comfort every day. There are no words that can make this right. All I can say is that I love you and I want that light to shine in you again. I had the opportunity to spend some time with Keyton at your moms. You are obviously a wonderful mom. Keyton is precious. Kadence was and is a precious baby. He is in God's loving arms in heaven. Your grandaddy Herman is there too.What a smile he must have on his face. I cannot imagine how horrible this is for you so all I can do is pray that God will give you the strength to put one foot in front of the other and that the pain will ease at times for you to recover enough to face another day. May those days get better just knowing how much Kadence touched the lives of so many people and how so many people care about you. You are a precious child of God.
