Our mother, Katherine Tucker, sadly passed away on July 31 at the age of 97. We were blessed to have her as our mom as she was a wonderful cook, a seamstress who made her own clothes, and a skilled dancer (a trait that failed to pass to following generations). Her Happy Place was on the beach with her family.
She was born on August 23, 1926 to Pearl and BD Claburn in Birmingham, Alabama. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Rick and Veronica , Ted and Ana, and the grandsons she adored, Derek, Zac, and Ethan.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery.
