OGLESBEY, KAYLA JO, age 21 of Remlap, passed away with her mother, Beverly Oglesbey on Monday, March 31, 2014. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Sam Barlow. She is survived by her father, Rodney Oglesbey (Sherrie); fiancé, Michael Burson; sister, Melissa Barlow James (Greg); brothers, Mark Doss (Annette) and Jake Mize; grandparents, Joan and Bill Sargent and Margaret Barlow; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Kayla was a graduate of Jefferson Christian Academy and was very proud of graduating as a Nationally Registered EMT in pursuit of her nursing degree. She was very loving, outgoing, friendly and cared about everyone she met. Kayla was always happy even through hard times. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 11-1 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning in the chapel at 1PM with Bro. Bud Swindle and Tony Edwards, Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
