Kenneth Richard Kyzer

Kenneth Richard Kyzer, age 74 of Birmingham, AL passed away on June 3, 2026. He was born on January 24, 1952 to John Kyzer, Jr. and Hazel Holley Kyzer. He was a graduate of Woodlawn High school class of 1971.

Kenneth was a loving brother and devoted son. He adored his nieces and great nephews. He was a loyal friend who enjoyed helping others. He grew close to his friends he made while a resident of Fair Haven, especially Priscilla and Barry.

He enjoyed traveling to the beach and entering his Highlander Boxers into dog shows. He won several awards and trophies from the Westminster Kennel Club, mostly with his show dog, Fire.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, John Kyzer, Jr. and a sister-in-law, Janice Kyzer and a great niece, Sarah Johnson. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Kyzer; a brother, Steven Kyzer; his sister, Linda McGinnis (Floyd); his nieces, Julie (Randy) and Kim and great nephews, Jackson and Caleb.

A funeral service for Kenneth will be held on Saturday, June 6th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel at 2pm with a visitation for friends and family held one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Forest Crest Cemetery. Pastor Ron Harris will be officiating.
