Kenneth was born December 20, 1940 in Birmingham, AL to Kenneth Tiley Perrine, Sr and Martha Meriwether Perrine. He attended Shades Valley High School and enjoyed growing up with his siblings Dr. George Meriwether Perrine (deceased) and Martha Louise Howell Perrine. He spent many summers in Macon, Mississippi visiting the family farm and his cousin, Richard Schimmel.
Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, Kenneth spent most of his life in Jasper, AL. He attended the University of Alabama and built a career in sales and developing his own telecomm systems business. He was an Eagle Scout and troop leader and helped his son also reach Eagle Scout. He loved Alabama football and going to games as often as he could. In retirement, Kenneth enjoyed participating in activities like cooking and dancing classes at the Cordova Senior Center and teaching classes on local Alabama birds.
He was formerly married to Lynn Whitten Perrine and was a devoted father to his children. Kenneth is survived by his three children and nine grandchildren: Robert Mathews Perrine and his wife Beth Perrine and his three children: Dabney Haisten, Walter and Paige Perrine; Thomas Harry Perrine and his wife Georganne Perrine and their four children: Tiley, Belle, Anne Archer and Caroline; Elizabeth Perrine Cook and her husband Chris Cook and their two children: Charlotte and Owen. Kenneth had one great grandchild, Lucille (Lucy) Haisten.
A funeral/memorial service to honor Kenneth’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at John-Ridout’s - Elmwood Chapel. Visitation at 1pm and graveside at 2pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Kenneth’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
