COOPER, REV. LARRY D., age 67 of Springville, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Cooper. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jana Cooper; son, Jeremiah Cooper (Lindsey); daughters, Ann Marie Johnson (Tyrone), Bonnie Cooper and Lisa Kay Boldin (Buck); grandchildren, Brittany Hammonds, Sean Johnson, Holden Chase and Kaylah Boldin; Aunt and Uncle, Annie Mae and Rueben Pitts; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and several nieces and nephews. Larry retired from Golden Flake after 29 years and was the pastor of Pearl Lake Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, dad and grandfather. His family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Sunday, December 1, 2013 beginning at 2 PM with Bro. Tim Henry and Bro. Terry Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his fund at Pearl Lake Baptist Church.
