Lauren Nicole Huie

On July 23, 2016, our Lord called Lauren home. She is now at peace in His loving arms. Lauren was a graduate of Hewitt Trussville H.S. in May, 2009 and earned her cosmetology license from Paul Mitchell Hair and Cosmetology Institute in 2012. She was very talented and a favorite among many of her clients at Kuttin' Up Hair Salon in Trussville.

Lauren is preceded in death by grandfathers Henry Joe Cash and Charles E. Huie. She is survived by Levi Braxton Gantt (age 5), who was the apple of her eye, Gina Cash Huie (mother); Chris Huie (adopted father); Matt Huie (brother); Cathryn Huie and Bonnie Cash (grandmothers); Norma and Richard Zales (grandparents), Daniel R. Zales (father); Robbie Zales (aunt); Tammy & Frank Mazzara and Marcy & James McCrary (aunts and uncles); Johnny W. Cash (uncle); Martha Sanders and Sherry Johnson (great aunts), Joe Gantt (Levi's father), many cousins, second cousins, and close friends.

Lauren's beautiful smile and sweet soul will be missed, but her spirit will forever live in our hearts.

Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with the Funerqal Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Graveside services at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 1591Gadsden Hwy., Trussville, to follow.
