Mrs. Barrett has been a member of Huffman Baptist Church since 1974. She was also a member of the East End Auxiliary, where she actively volunteered for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wendell Barrett and son, Larry Barrett.
She is survived by, three daughters, Lynn Achenbach (John), Carolyn Wren (Bob) and Patricia Hudson (Carl); grandchildren, Cynthia Bernardi (Joerg), Alan Wren (Heather), Kirstin Achenbach (Anand), Heidi Howard (Rich), Jacob Hudson and Fate Hudson; five great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Sunday, August 31st at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:00 on Sunday. Entombment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
